The Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association in its statement noted that the DPRK successfully put its earth satellite Kwangmyongsong-2 into orbit, adding: The DPRK is a sovereign and independent state with the right to use space for peaceful purposes.

Nobody has authority to violate this right of the DPRK, and the West's intervention and accusation against its sovereignty will only result in tension and confrontation in the Korean Peninsula, the statement warned.

The Czech, Moravian, Silesian Trade Unions' Association in its statement expressed full support for the DPRK's policy of peaceful space development, saying that the association extends warm congratulations to the Korean people on their signal achievement made in the field of space science and technology.
