The camps have been fully equipped with all conditions needed for camping to receive schoolchildren.

A meeting to receive campers took place at the Mangyongdae Children's Camp on Wednesday.

A reporter and speakers at the meeting said that schoolchildren have spent the pleasant days of camping every year under the care of General Secretary Kim Jong Il who is traveling an endless journey of Songun for the future of the country and happiness of posterity.

They stressed the need for schoolchildren to train their body and mind and consolidate their school knowledge through mountaineering, study tour and other diverse activities and thus well prepare themselves to be reliable pillars of Songun Korea with ample knowledge, high morality and strong body.

Similar meetings were held at other camps across the country, including the Songdowon International Children's Camp and Yonphungho, Sokam, Sohungho and Soho Children's Camps.
