He noted that Kim Jong Il's reelection as chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK at the First Session of the 12th Supreme People's Assembly marked the historic event of epochal significance in the cause of building the Juche-oriented army and the development of the revolution and a great auspicious event of the nation.

He called upon the Koreans in China to turn out as one in the patriotic movement for the prosperity of the country and the country's reunification this significant year, keeping pace with the struggle of the people in the motherland, single-mindedly united around Kim Jong Il.
