Yang Yong Dong said in his report that the Koreans in China were immensely excited and pleased to hear the happy news that Kim Jong Il was reelected chairman of the NDC of the DPRK at the First Session of the 12th Supreme People's Assembly .

He underscored the need for the Koreans in China to wage a dynamic patriotic movement for the prosperity and the independent reunification of the country, keeping pace with the people in the motherland effecting a great leap forward on all fronts for building a great prosperous powerful nation, highly proud of having Kim Jong Il at the top post of the DPRK.

He called upon all of them to devote themselves to the struggle for firmly defending and glorifying the socialist system, true to the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.

A letter to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the meeting.
