The Okryu Korean Dress Shop near the picturesque Taedong River and the Pothongmun Korean Dress Shop are short of work hands, deluged with orders.

The same is the case with the Ryonghung Korean Dress Shop in Taesong District.

A cutter there told KCNA dozens of customers were coming to the shop every day to order Korean costumes.

"All of them," she continued, "gasp their admiration for the graceful and fascinating costumes on show in the sample room.

"They say the Korean costumes remind them of a work of art, as they are designed and delicately tailored to suit the modern sense of beauty while preserving the traditional folk dress style and make.

"Our shop has of late brought about a technical turn in hand-embroidery and cutting of the hem of jogori and its sagging underpart."

Well blended with bright and soft color, the Korean costumes are popular as they please the tastes of the Korean women who are fond of pure and neat dresses.
