The Arab Committee for Solidarity with Korean People and Supporting the Reunification of Korea in Jordan in its statement charged that the south Korean authorities are viciously slandering the DPRK's satellite launch, kowtowing to the United States. The world's progressive people give high appreciation and full support to this achievement of the DPRK and regard it as their own achievement and victory, it stressed.

Expressing full support for the DPRK's development of space science and technology, it hoped that the DPRK would go on with its work to conquer outer space.

The Bulgarian Worker's Party (Communist) in its statement noted that though it is small in territorial size and the number of population, the DPRK has invariably advanced along the road of socialism chosen by itself while squarely standing against the high-handed U.S. and developed the economy with its own efforts and technology and made signal achievements in the field of science and technology.

Displeased with the DPRK's independent politics and the achievements made under it, the U.S. is resorting to persistent smear propaganda while making provocations against socialist Korea, the statement charged.

It stressed that the party extends firm solidarity to the Workers' Party of Korea and the heroic Korean people led by Kim Jong Il.
