Pyongyang, April 19 (KCNA) -- The academic headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration issued a statement on April 13 to denounce the U.S. and its followers for their accusation against the DPRK's satellite launch.
The statement said: The U.S. and Japan are slandering the DPRK's earth satellite as "missile for military purposes." Such moves can not be construed otherwise than an intention to apply sanctions on the DPRK and turn the international community into a theatre of violence.
Besides, the Lee Myung Bak "government" chimes in with the moves, asserting that it would fully participate in the U.S.-led missile defence system and PSI, the statement charged.
To use outer space for peaceful purposes is a legitimate and equal right of all countries, the statement pointed out, urging the U.S., Japan and the Lee Myung Bak "government" to stop calling for sanctions against the DPRK at once.
