He in his statement said that the whole life of Kim Il Sung represented the history of great devotion in which he devoted his all to building the people's country and a socialist power, praising the distinguished feats performed by him in the history of the anti-imperialist struggle.

He stressed that the Korean people are now invariably holding in high esteem Kim Il Sung as the fatherly leader and eternal President as he devoted all his wisdom and energies to the independence and prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people all his life and performed the undying feats for the country and the people.

The director of the International Department of the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan in a statement issued on April 15 on the occasions of the Day of the Sun and the 16th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's election as chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK praised Kim Il Sung as the great revolutionary who devoted his all to the cause of the liberation and freedom of Korea and socialist construction and greatly contributed to the development of the world socialist movement and the labor movement.

He stressed that it is an expression of the boundless respect and reverence for the President that the Korean people significantly commemorate his birth anniversary every year as the Day of the Sun.
