The resolution praised the north for successfully launching the satellite Kwangmyongsong-2 by its own efforts and with its own technology, thus demonstrating the might of the nation before the world.

Accusing the United States and the Lee Myung Bak regime of working hard to stem the trend of history toward independent reunification, peace and prosperity of the nation, the resolution said that in order to pull through this difficulty, the members of Pomchonghakryon should take the lead in the patriotic struggle for reunification and creditably fulfil their historical responsibility.

The resolution declared that the organization would wage a dynamic struggle during the "period of the movement of youth and students for implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration" as discussed at the 19th meeting of the co-chairmen of Pomchonghakryon.

It stressed that the organization would never pardon the Lee regime and other anti-reunification forces' policy of confrontation with compatriots and their war moves but bring earlier the day of achieving independence, democracy and reunification.
