Huge armed forces are standing in acute confrontation with each other with the Military Demarcation Line (MDL) in between and distrust and hostility between the two parts of Korea have reached an extreme phase.

This is, in every sense, a natural product of the reckless ruckus of military confrontation kicked up by the U.S. keen to invade the DPRK and the south Korean warlike forces, its lackeys.

In order to achieve lasting peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula as early as possible it is imperative to put an end to the U.S. aggressive hostile policy towards the DPRK and force its aggressor forces to withdraw from south Korea without delay.

But the Lee Myung Bak regime of south Korea has frantically pursued the military confrontation with the DPRK, zealously supporting the U.S. in its moves for aggression against the DPRK out of its inveterate rejection of fellow countrymen.

The Lee group has aggravated the distrust and confrontation between the north and the south as running dogs of foreign aggressor forces, utterly indifferent to the desire and destiny of the nation, and increased the danger of a nuclear war on the peninsula. Unpardonable is such treacherous and anti-reunification military confrontation pursued by the group.

It was entirely just for the DPRK Foreign Ministry to have declared in a recent statement that the DPRK would boost its nuclear deterrent for self-defence in every way to cope with the increased military threat posed by the hostile forces and thus protect in a responsible manner peace and security on the Korean Peninsula with the might of Songun.

All the Koreans in the north and the south and overseas who love the country and the nation and value peace should strongly oppose and reject the above-said racket kicked up by the above-said bellicose forces.
