It was appreciated by senior party, army and state officials, chairpersons of friendly parties, leading officials of party, armed forces and power organs, public organizations, ministries and national institutions, servicepersons and families of KPA servicemen, persons who have distinguished themselves in assisting the army and working people in Pyongyang.

Overseas Koreans, the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, diplomatic envoys of various countries and members of the military attaches corps here were also among the audience on invitation.

Put on the stage were mixed chorus "Peerless Patriot General Kim Jong Il", "Always Looking up to the Leader", female solo "Thunder on Jong Il Peak", "General Is Crack Shot and We are Straight Shots," mixed chorus "Song of the Korean People's Army" and other colorful numbers.

The performers sang high praises of the immortal feats performed by President Kim Il Sung who set a brilliant example in building the revolutionary armed forces in the era of independence and provided the glorious history and traditions of the ever-victorious Korean revolution and those performed by General Secretary Kim Jong Il who has demonstrated all over the world the dignity and national power of the country with arms.
