Servicepersons of the KPA, people from all walks of life and school youth and children in Pyongyang and overseas compatriots visited the statue of the President on Mansu Hill.

Seen standing before the statue was a floral basket sent by Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the KPA.

Laid before the statue were floral baskets in the name of the Party, armed forces and power organs, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the KPA, institutions in the fields of science, education, culture and art, public health and media, factories and enterprises and schools and flowers.

Written on the ribbons of the floral baskets were words "The great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung will live forever," "The great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung will always be with us," "The great revolutionary exploits of the respected leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung are immortal!" and others.

The masses paid homage to the President in humble reverence.

Floral baskets were placed before his statues in different parts of Pyongyang.

The KPA servicepersons, people and school youth and children in different parts of the country visited the statues of the President in their residential areas to place floral baskets and flowers and pay the noblest respects to the President.
