The revolutionary drama "Woman Comrade of Mt. Paektu" was given by the artistes of the State Theatrical Troupe at the State Theatre in Pyongyang.

The artistes of the State Folk Art Troupe gave a music and dance performance at the Central Youth Hall while those of the orchestra of the Yun I Sang Music Institute a concert at the Yun I Sang Concert Hall.

Put on the stages were such colorful pieces as female solo and chorus "We Are Grateful to Generalissimo Kim Il Sung," song and dance "Mangyongdae, the Cradle of Revolution," female solo "Red Chol Pass" and orchestra "149 Turns towards Forefront."

The performers made artistic expression of their gratefulness and reverence for Kim Il Sung, the invincible and iron-willed commander, who performed undying exploits in the building of Juche-oriented army and the history of the revolutionary wars and enthusiastically sang of the undying exploits of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il who is glorifying the dignity of socialist Korea.

Circus shows were given by the Pyongyang Circus and the Pyongyang Moranbong Circus.

Similar celebration performances were given at art theatres and cultural houses in different provinces including Ryanggang, North Hwanghae and North Hamgyong Provinces on the same day.
