Their rash actions are nothing but a foolish behavior of those traitors who think that cooperation with outsiders will solve everything, bereft of even an iota of national consciousness and independence, Rodong Sinmun observes this in a signed commentary today.

It brands the "policy toward the north" pursued by the Lee Myung Bak regime as a sycophantic and traitorous one inciting confrontation with fellow countrymen and running diametrically counter to "By our nation itself," the basic spirit of the June 15 joint declaration.

The commentary cites facts to prove that the Lee group put forward "strengthened alliance" with its American and Japanese masters as the most important task since it came to power, in disregard of fellow countrymen, guided by the traitorous theory of depending on outsiders and has worked with bloodshot eyes to do harm to the DPRK based on it and such moves have reached a height now.

It goes on:

Dependence on outsiders can never help solve problems.

The DPRK is never browbeaten by the unreasonable pressure racket kicked up by the traitors with the backing of outsiders as it regards independence as its supreme dignity and life and soul.

The racket only brought into bolder relief the traitorous colors of the Lee group hell bent on flunkeyism and dependence on outsiders and will compel the people of the DPRK to harden their will to settle accounts with the group of traitors who turned their backs on the nation.

The above-said group should come to itself, though belatedly, bearing in mind that the sycophantic and treacherous actions of cooperating with foreign forces, while rejecting national cooperation will only invite destruction and shame and an irreversible catastrophe in the inter-Korean relations.

The DPRK will thoroughly calculate the crimes committed by the Lee group doing harm to fellow countrymen in league with outsiders while swimming against the trend of the times toward national independence and certainly force them to pay for the treacherous crimes committed by them.
