Day of Sun Observed in Different Countries

Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- Meetings commemorating the Day of the Sun took place in Bangladesh, India and Austria from Apr. 9 to 14. On display in the venues of the meetings were works of the peerless great men, photos showing their immortal exploits and books and photos introducing Songun Korea. Speeches were made at the meetings. Speakers including the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (Marxist-Leninist) who is minister of Industries of Bangladesh, the chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh and the president of the Bangladesh People's League highly praised President Kim Il Sung as the father of socialist Korea who dedicated himself to the reunification of the country and the happiness of the people all his life and a peerless political elder who defeated two imperialisms, the U.S. and Japanese, built socialism centered on the popular masses and made an undying contribution to the human cause of independence. Referring to the fact that the revolutionary cause of Juche started by the President has been successfully carried forward by General Secretary Kim Jong Il, they stressed the DPRK has turned into a political, ideological and military power under the leadership of Kim Jong Il. The secretary general of the Indian Society for Juche Idea-Self-Reliance Studies praised He expressed the belief that the DPRK would surely turn into a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation and the cause of national reunification would be accomplished without fail in the near future under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il. The chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and DPRK said that the DPRK has made a great advance in its struggle for the happiness of the people under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il, a creditable successor to the cause of Messages to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the meetings held in India and Austria. |
