This is an unpardonable fascist offensive intended to check the implementation of the historic June 15 joint declaration and override the aspiration and desire of the south Korean people for independence, democracy and reunification, Rodong Sinmun today says in a signed commentary.

It is also a product of the anti-reunification "pragmatic" fascist rule by the Lee Myung Bak group attempting to totally quell the daily-growing desire for alliance with the north and national reunification while trampling down democracy and human rights in south Korea, and this clearly proves once again that the group seeks only confrontation and war between the north and the south, not their reconciliation and unity, the commentary says, and goes on:

The suppression of the patriotic organization for reunification striving to implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration is just open denial of the inter-Korean declarations and the idea of "By our nation itself" and another despicable action of destroying the inter-Korean relations. This time, the Lee group groundlessly argued about "sympathy with the north and praise of it" and "possibility of disturbing the basic order of liberal democracy" to bring harsh repression to bear upon the solidarity and its members. After all, the group revealed for itself that "respect" to the inter-Korean declarations and "hope" for improved inter-Korean relations, touted by it, are a sheer lie.

The reality goes to evidently prove that the Lee group is scheming to stifle the pro-reunification democratic forces of different circles in south Korea and confront with the north to the last while persistently refusing to implement the historic inter-Korean declarations.

The Korean nation will surely deal a telling blow to the group of traitors viciously opposing the implementation of the inter-Korean declarations and getting hell-bent on the fascist suppression of the pro-reunification democratic forces.
