Vasilka Nikiforova, chief of the Kim Il Sung Library in Bulgaria, said that the army and people of the DPRK have achieved only successes in the efforts to build a great prosperous powerful socialist nation, holding high the banner of Songun despite the moves of the imperialists to stifle them under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Constanzi Franco, secretary general of the Italian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that thanks to the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il and the invincible revolutionary armed forces the Korean people have achieved great successes in their efforts to build a great prosperous powerful socialist nation and the independent and peaceful reunification of the country, confident of victory and optimistic about future.

A message to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the meeting held in Myanmar.

Meanwhile, meetings, seminars, remembrance meetings, briefings, film shows and a photo exhibition took place in Laos, Indonesia and Thailand from April 6 to 10 on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.

Displayed in the venue of photo exhibition were photographs showing the exploits performed by the President.

Participants of film shows watched "The International Friendship Exhibition House" and other Korean films.
