Pyongyang, April 29 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held in Sweden, a Korean book, photo and handicraft exhibition in Peru, photo exhibitions in Laos and Uganda, a reading session on President Kim Il Sung's reminiscences "With the Century" in Ethiopia and a round-table talk by the Secretariat of the Pan-African Movement between Apr. 8 and 28 to commemorate the Day of the Sun, the 16th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's election as chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and the 77th founding anniversary of the heroic Korean People's Army.
Displayed in the venues of the events were famous works of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, photos showing their immortal exploits, books and photos introducing the Korean people in the efforts to achieve the national reunification and build a great prosperous and powerful nation and handicrafts representing the wisdom and skills of the Korean nation.
Meanwhile, Korean film shows took place in Thailand, Laos, Malaysia and the Czech Republic between Apr. 7 and 21 on the occasions of the Day of the Sun and the 77th birthday of the heroic KPA.
Appreciated at the shows were such Korean films as "Kimilsungia", "The Ever-victorious, Military Ranks in Parade", "The 75th Founding Anniversary of the Heroic Korean People's Army" and "Order No. 027."
