The saplings nursed by it grow fast while preserving their hereditary characteristics as they are produced by means of explantation and cuttage.

Explantation is of great economic value as it makes it possible to produce tens of thousands of saplings with a tree. And the saplings are high in the rate of rooting because they are nursed in greenhouses and then outdoors.

Those saplings grow fast and move up the fruit bearing time.

The saplings of good species include those of large chestnut, aronia melanocarpa, new species of paulownia, euonymus japonica and hinoki.

Large chestnut is usually two to three meters high and big chestnut-burs can be picked in the third year after planting.

Aronia melanocarpa begins to bear fruit in two or three years. Its vitamin P content being ten times the fruit of hawthorn, it is an effective remedy for such diseases as arteriosclerosis and hypertension.

New species of paulownia grows three or four meters annually and reaches the height of about twenty meters in five years.
