On display in the venues of the functions were works of Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and photos showing their feats and books and photos introducing the achievements made by the Korean people in building a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation.

The councilor in charge of Asia and Mideast of the International Affairs Department of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia in the lecture said that Kim Il Sung devoted his all to the prosperity and happiness of the Korean people all his life, stressing that the desire and idea of Kim Il Sung are being brilliantly materialized by Kim Jong Il.

The secretary of the Dar es Salaam Committee of the Revolutionary Party of Tanzania in the lecture noted that the noble and rich ideological and theoretical treasure provided by Kim Il Sung hold the distinguished position in the history of humankind thinking for its truthfulness and vitality and it evokes greater sympathy from among the world people as the days go by.

The chairman of the Egyptian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea at the remembrance meeting said that Kim Il Sung extended full support to the just cause of the peoples of Arab nations including Egypt, highly praising him as an outstanding leader who made immortal contributions to the cause of global independence.
