An art performance was given by artistes of the State Folk Art Troupe at the Taesongsan Pleasure Park.

Put on the stage were colorful numbers such as male trio "May Day Song" and song and dance "A Sweet Brier".

The performers enthusiastically sang of deep thanks to President Kim Il Sung who built a new society for the working people on this land and General Secretary Kim Jong Il who has led socialist country of Juche just to the gate to a thriving nation with his original Songun policy.

Staged were numbers including mixed quartette "May, Month of Victory" and female solo "Do Prosper, Era of the Workers' Party".

The audiences joined the performers in singing songs and dancing to the tune of cheerful folk songs, adding to holiday atmosphere.

Acrobats of the Pyongyang Circus delighted the people with acrobatic numbers with strong national flavor and stamina at the plaza of the Arch of Triumph.
