Dermot Hudson, chairman of the British Association for the Study of the Songun Policy, and Shawn Pikford, its member, and other speakers said that Kim Il Sung who devoted his all to the happiness of the people and the prosperity of the country all his life is alive in the hearts of the Korean people and progressive mankind and the exploits performed by him for the cause of global independence will be immortal.

They explained and proved the originality and vitality of the Juche idea and the Songun idea founded by the President, adding that the DPRK's recent successful launch of the satellite Kwangmyongsong-2 demonstrated its level of Juche-oriented scientific and technological development and dealt a telling blow at the reactionary forces including the U.S. imperialists to monopolize space.

The KPA demonstrating its invincible might under the leadership of the outstanding Songun brilliant commander gives the world progressive people great hope and confidence, they stressed.

A seminar was held in France on April 21 on the occasion of the Army Day of the DPRK.

Jean Marie Lambret, chief of the French Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, in a report recalled that Kim Il Sung, founder of the immortal Juche idea and the Songun idea, accomplished a historic cause.

Saying that the Songun idea of Kim Il Sung has been successfully carried forward by General Secretary Kim Jong Il, he added that the DPRK is sure to win thanks to the unshakable faith of Kim Jong Il to bring to final completion the Korean revolution with arms which was started and advanced with arms.

A message of greetings to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the seminar held in France.
