Pyongyang, May 2 (KCNA) -- The All-People Committee for the Measures against the Murder of Evacuees in Ryongsan of south Korea called a press conference in Seoul on April 28 to demand traitor Lee Myung Bak make apology for the killing of evacuees.
At the conference the organization accused the Lee "government" of taking no measures to settle the tragedy in Ryongsan for nearly a hundred days after it.
The present "government" is resorting to despicable moves to build up public opinion for falsifying and covering up the truth about the tragedy, the organization held, terming this an act to gloss over the murder case.
The truth about the Ryongsan tragedy has not been probed nor has the demand for punishing the prime mover of the killing been met due to the Lee regime's moves to evade its responsibility, it charged, stressing:
If the situation is to be properly settled it is necessary for Lee Myung Bak to kneel down and make apology before the people before anything else.
