Displayed in the venues of the exhibitions were works of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, photos showing their immortal exploits, books, photos and art works representing the wisdom and skills of the Korean people and successes made in the drive to build a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation.

The director for the Art and Cultural Council of the Nigerian Ministry of Federal Capital Territory said in a speech made at the opening ceremony of a photo exhibition that Kim Il Sung liberated the country and made a great contribution to the socialist construction in the DPRK and the efforts to accomplish the cause of human independence.

The mayor of a city of the Brasilia Federal District of Brazil highly praised Kim Jong Il as the greatest statesman in the present times as he has turned the DPRK into a political and military power with his original Songun politics and firmly protected the dignity and sovereignty of the country, stalwartly standing up against the U.S. styling itself the world's "only superpower."

Kanga Ngerien Jerom, chairman of the Group for the Study of Kim Jong Il Juche Idea of Democratic Congo, said in a lecture that Kim Il Sung built a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence, on the land of Korea where the popular masses became its master and always shared weal and woe with the people, mixing with them all his life.

Meanwhile, a seminar took place in Mongolia, round-table talks in the Czech Republic and a lecture in Germany between April 23 and 25 on the occasion of the 77th founding anniversary of the KPA.

A message of greetings to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the function held in Mongolia.
