Collection of Reminiscences "Among the People" Vol. 80 Off Press

Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House brought out the collection of Reminiscences "Among the People" Vol. 80. The book contains 20 reminiscences telling about the immortal exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung for the prosperity of the country, people's well-being and the country's reunification and his noble popular traits. Among them are reminiscences dealing with the facts that the President visited the Korean Revolution Museum and underscored the need to intensify the education of masses in order to firmly arm the party members and other working people with the revolutionary traditions of the WPK and initiated a project for the expansion of the production capacity of the then February 8 Vinalon Factory to solve the problem of people's clothing and wisely led it. The book also contains reminiscences telling stories that the President implanted ardent patriotism into the scientists of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, exerted great efforts to make sure that Wonsan City was built into a modern port city and led the work for preserving and managing well the historic relics and materials associated with the wisdom and soul of the Koreans. The book carries reminiscences dealing with facts that he reposed trust in officials in the field of agriculture by helping them build the socialist rural areas better generation after generation, remaining true to the Party, and led them to increase the grain production. The book also carries stories about his noble revolutionary obligation, warm comradeship and lofty popular traits. It also edits reminiscences telling about the moving stories that he made sure that the talks between the Red Cross organizations of the north and the south, the first of its kind in the history of the national division, were held to open the gate to the first dialogue. |
