Lee Myung Bak Group Hell-bent on Confrontation with Compatriots Flayed

Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The conservative ruling forces of south Korea, taking issue with the DPRK's re-operation of its nuclear facilities and reprocessing of spent fuel rods, talked nonsense that "the danger of nuclear proliferation in the north poses a worldwide problem" and that the international community should "tighten sanctions." They went the lengths of sending their lackeys to the ministerial meeting of the Coordinating Committee of the Non-Aligned Movement held in Cuba in a desperate bid to slander and debase the DPRK over its satellite launch. Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Sunday observes: This was nothing but a disgusting behavior of the traitors to do harm to compatriots and realize their ambition for confrontation with them in collusion with outside forces, utterly indifferent to the dignity and interests of the nation.

The news analyst goes on:

Absolutely intolerable is the treacherous behavior of the Lee Myung Bak group keen to do harm to fellow countrymen at any cost in collusion with outside forces in a bid to realize its sinister intention, daring challenge the sovereignty of the DPRK.

Nobody is entitled to take issue with the DPRK's resolute measure to reconstruct its nuclear facilities to their original state and reprocess the spent fuel rods as it is an exercise of the legitimate right of the sovereign state to cope with the grave situation created by the unjust action of the UNSC.

As evidenced by the fact that south Korea which has no full membership made its way to the ministerial meeting of the NAM Coordinating Committee, the Lee group is the group of traitors which leaves no mean untried to impair the high authority and prestige of the DPRK and internationalize the racket of confrontation with the DPRK, unaware of its poor position and where it stands at present. The Lee group obsessed with dependence on outside forces and confrontation with fellow countrymen is the root cause of disaster that should not be allowed to remain within the nation.

In order not to let the disgraceful history of the nation in which Korea was reduced to a stateless nation due to flunkeyism and dependence on outside forces repeat itself the DPRK will further bolster its nuclear deterrent for self-defence and mercilessly punish on behalf of the nation the gang daring challenge it.
