Pyongyang, May 4 (KCNA) -- Figures of different countries fully supported the statement issued by the DPRK Foreign Ministry on April 14. The secretary general of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee said in a statement on April 24 that the DPRK's satellite launch was an exercise of the sovereign right and an example of scientific and technological development for developing countries to follow. He bitterly denounced the UNSC for issuing the brigandish "presidential statement" aimed at applying sanctions against the DPRK and expressed full support to the statement issued by the DPRK Foreign Ministry. He evinced his determination to boost the friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in the future, too. Trotsky Serano, international secretary of the Socialist Party-Ample Front of Ecuador and president of the Canar Provincial Institute for the Friendship and Solidarity with DPRK of Ecuador, noted in a statement on April 21 that it is an invariable principle of the front to support the socialist cause of the DPRK. The progressive people warmly hailed the successful launch of the satellite made by the scientists and technicians of the DPRK by their own efforts in the spirit of self-reliance, he stressed. He noted that the DPRK advancing under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il disclosed before the whole world the UNSC's wanton violation of the rights stipulated in international law. M. M. Alhassan, chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, when interviewed by a radio reporter of the country on April 15, vehemently denounced the UNSC for issuing its "presidential statement" critical of the DPRK's satellite launch under the pressure of the U.S. and its followers. |
