Pyongyang, May 5 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification made public a statement on May 1 declaring the will to stage a dynamic struggle against the U.S. and Lee Myung Bak in solidarity with the workers.
The statement said that the Korean Peninsula is standing at the crucial crossroads of war and peace due to the moves of the U.S. imperialists, Japan and the Lee regime for confrontation with the DPRK.
Recalling that the U.S. imperialists and the pro-U.S. bellicose forces are perpetrating subversive acts and exploitation under the signboard of "peace," the statement noted that their hysteria has reached an extremely serious phase.
The statement called on the workers, peasants and youth and students to struggle to the last to root up the Lee fascist dictatorship under the uplifted banner of "By our nation itself."
It stressed that the members of the said organization would turn out as one in the struggle for destroying the "Lee fortress" standing in the way of building a new independent, democratic and reunified country in solidarity with the workers.
