Provocative Outbursts of U.S. and S. Korean Warmongers Blasted

Pyongyang, May 7 (KCNA) -- The commander of the U.S. forces in south Korea in his recent "lecture" openly hinted at the possibility of carrying out their "operation plan" to cope with what they called an "emergency situation," blustering that the U.S. will remain committed to implementing the U.S.-south Korea "mutual defense treaty" and providing its "nuclear umbrella to south Korea" regardless of the transfer of the "right to command the wartime operations."

Brasshats of the south Korean puppet military let loose a spate of bellicose outbursts that "it is expected to report a developed plan to cope with an 'emergency situation' to 'Chongwadae'" and they are "at the phase where a counter-proposal has been put into a concrete plan."

Rodong Sinmun today observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

The DPRK can never remain a passive onlooker to those provocative outbursts that can be let loose only on the eve of a war as they are an undisguised military threat and blackmail against it.

What the commander of the U.S. forces in south Korea uttered amounts to a declaration of all-out military confrontation with the DPRK and a grave threat of aggression to it. It only betrays the U.S. scenario to ignite a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula at any cost by using the puppets as a shock brigade.

The fact that the U.S. imperialist warmongers openly hinted at the application of the "OPLAN 5027" and the "OPLAN 5029" patently proves that the U.S. imperialists have already wound up the operational preparations and offensive posture to launch armed invasion against the DPRK and are now watching for a chance to start a nuclear war, while zealously egging the puppets onto provoke a war.

The warmongers of the puppet military are rolling up their sleeves to carry out their operation plans for invading the north in collusion with their U.S. master while becoming again vociferous about "an emergency situation." This is nothing but a reckless move to bring the north-south relations to total collapse and drive them to the military confrontation and war.

The theory of "strength" touted by the U.S. only invites shame and self-destruction and the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors' moves to escalate the confrontation with compatriots and provoke a war of aggression against the DPRK only precipitate its miserable end.

The U.S. and the Lee group would be well advised to bear in mind that the DPRK's warning is by no means an empty talk and if they turn a deaf ear to such warning, they will have to pay a dear price for it.
