Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- Talks were held between Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, and S. R. Nathan, President of Singapore, at the Singaporean presidential palace on May 7.
At the talks Nathan said that the DPRK was one of those countries that recognized the Republic of Singapore before any others, expressing belief that the friendly relations between the two countries developing on good terms would grow stronger in the future, too.
At the talks both sides exchanged views on boosting the friendly relations between the two countries and a series of matters of mutual concern.
