Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- S. R. Nathan, President of Singapore, gave a banquet in honor of Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, at the presidential palace on May 7.
Present there on invitation were President Kim Yong Nam, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Hyong Jun, DPRK Ambassador to Singapore Jong Song Il and other suite members.
President S. R. Nathan, S. Iswaran, senior minister of state for Trade and Industry, Tan Eng Beng, chief secretary of the President, and other officials concerned were on hand.
The banquet proceeded in an amicable atmosphere.
