The South Headquarters of Pomminryon is a steadfast pro-reunification and patriotic organization to all intents and purposes and its activities are, therefore, entirely righteous and just. The members of such organizations as the South Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration and the Federation of Peasants Associations of south Korea who were suppressed this time are patriotic figures who have worked harder than any others for independence and democracy of the south Korean society and national reunification.

However, the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors perpetrated wholesale suppression of the South Headquarters of Pomminryon and pro-reunification and patriotic forces. This is its last ditch efforts to quell the desire for implementing the north-south joint declarations growing stronger in south Korea than ever before, completely hold in check the pro-reunification and patriotic activities and tide over its ruling crisis caused by its unpopular rule.

It will be impossible to expect social democracy and independent reunification unless the ill-famed "National Security Law" is abolished and an end is put to the Lee group's fascist dictatorship and its moves for national confrontation.

Pomminryon will conduct a courageous struggle together with all the Koreans at home and abroad supportive of the June 15 joint declaration and desirous of reunification to bring earlier national reunification, foiling the group's suppression.

The group of traitors would be well advised to clearly remember that the preceding fascist rulers met a miserable end while working hard to block reunification and violate democracy.
