Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- Staff members of the Russian embassy here laid a wreath before the Liberation Tower Saturday on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of Russia's victory in the great Patriotic War.
Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Ambassador Valery Sukhinin and staff members of the Russian embassy and diplomatic envoys and military attaches of foreign embassies here.
The participants placed the wreath in the name of the Russian embassy before the tower and paid a silent tribute to the fallen Soviet army soldiers.
They also laid a wreath and bouquets at the cemetery of the fallen Soviet army soldiers in Sadong District, Pyongyang.
