It was attended by the members of the Board of Directors and delegates of Juche idea study organizations from Egypt, Ethiopia, Guinea, Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa, Democratic Congo and other countries in Africa.

A delegation of the International Institute of the Juche Idea and a delegation of the Social Scientists Society of Korea were present there on invitation.

The meeting reviewed the work done by the Board of Directors after its 7th meeting. And it discussed the tasks to be carried out by the Juche idea study organizations of different countries on the occasion of the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung and the matters arising in further improving the activities for study and dissemination of the Juche idea.
