Rodong Sinmun in a signed commentary Sunday denounces this as another disgusting treachery of quislings who place foreign forces before the nation and act as their dirty stooges while getting hell-bent on confrontation with fellow countrymen.

The additional step taken by the DPRK is quite legitimate as this was prompted by its patriotic decision to shatter the evermore undisguised aggression moves of the hostile forces and defend the supreme interests of the country and the nation, the commentary says, and goes on:

In actuality, it is the Lee Myung Bak group that is challenging the international community's cause of peace and bringing dark clouds of war to not only the Korean Peninsula but also the rest of Northeast Asia.

The danger of a nuclear war growing in the Korean Peninsula is mainly attributable to the foolish policy of dependence on foreign forces and confrontation with fellow countrymen pursued by the Lee "government" which is blindly chiming with the foreign forces' war scheme for aggression on the DPRK. "International community" mentioned by the Lee group is none other than the U.S. and Japanese reactionaries. Nobody can deny the fact that the U.S. and Japanese reactionaries have pursued the policy of stifling the DPRK while extremely antagonizing it and sought to realize their ambition for invasion of the DPRK even by imposing disasters of a nuclear war upon the Korean nation.

The army and people of the DPRK regard the national dignity and sovereignty as their life and soul. So, steadfast is their stand to mercilessly punish the aggressors and quislings pouncing to encroach upon the said dignity and sovereignty.

The Lee group had better stop acting rashly, clearly understanding the revolutionary disposition of the army and people of the DPRK who do not make empty talk.
