Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) -- The Democratic Labor Party, the Democratic Party and other opposition parties of south Korea bitterly condemned the puppet Intelligence Service and police for their fascist suppression of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification on May 7.
The opposition parties accused the IS and police of searching office rooms of the headquarters and its affiliated organizations and houses of its leading members and arresting six of them including its chairman.
Chiding the Lee Myung Bak regime for trying to arrest all the forces opposed to it, they stated that this is a wanton violation of democracy and a charade intended to recover a shameful defeat it sustained in the recent "by-election of National Assemblymen."
The rights of those related to the reunification movement are mercilessly violated due to the regime opposed to reunification, they noted, holding that the past history in which the reunification movement was suppressed due to the departed soul of those who advocated "the theory of coloring" should never be allowed to repeat itself.
