Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

What this traitor uttered is an unpardonable challenge to the DPRK which has worked hard to protect the national sovereignty, preserve the country's peace and achieve reunification.

The inter-Korean relations had favorably developed since the adoption of the June 15 joint declaration but have reached a grave phase of total collapse at present. This is entirely attributable to the Lee regime's policy of sycophancy and treachery.

Ryu Myong Hwan is the top-class traitor as he has taken the lead in conducting traitor Lee Myung Bak's criminal "diplomacy" veiled with the word of "pragmatism" as a strong advocator of it.

The commentary lays bare Ryu's rare disposition as a sycophant and traitor bereft of even an iota of the consciousness of being a member of the Korean nation and its soul.

It goes on:

As long as such stupid guy as Ryu keen on racket of confrontation with fellow countrymen in utter disregard of the nation's destiny, backed by outsiders, is allowed to go on reckless as now, it is quite impossible to improve the inter-Korean relations nor is it possible to avoid a nuclear war, much less achieving peace and reunification on the Korean Peninsula.

Ryu had better behave himself, mindful that his hysteric call for confrontation is as foolish an act as precipitating his own destruction.
