Participating in the fair were more than 200 companies and organizations from many countries including the DPRK, China, Russia, Germany, Malaysia, Syria, Sweden, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand and a region.

Over 65,700 pieces of products in more than 15,700 kinds were displayed there. They include machine tools, electric and electronic equipment, vehicles, petrochemicals, medicines, articles of daily use and foodstuffs.

Various kinds of NC machine tools, implements, building materials, light industrial goods, foodstuffs and highly efficacious medicines presented by more than 60 Korean companies attracted interest of the visitors.

Conspicuous were the exhibits of foreign companies, too.

Economic transactions were conducted among companies during the fair.

Representatives of different countries and region discussed possibilities of multifold trade activities and concluded export and import contracts with each other.

It marked a good occasion for developing friendship and exchange and cooperation in such fields as trade, economy, science and technology.

The annual Pyongyang international trade fair ever grows in scope and standard.
