Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Commonwealth of Independent States Regional Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon) on May 12 made public a statement urging the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors to stop at once the shuddering campaign of fascist suppression and release the arrested members of the South Headquarters of Pomminryon and reunification movement organizations as early as possible.
The statement said the Lee group's wholesale suppression of the reunification movement organizations including the South Headquarters of Pomminryon is no more than desperate efforts to dampen the daily growing desire to implement the north-south joint declarations in south Korea and tide over its ruling crisis caused due to the unpopular policy.
With no amount of desperate effort can the Lee group stamp out Pomminryon, the statement said, adding that the Commonwealth of Independent States Regional Headquarters of Pomminryon will pool efforts with all other fellow countrymen at home and abroad in the struggle against the group's suppression and intensify the struggle to bring earlier national reunification.
