Lee Group of Traitors' Anti-DPRK Outbursts Slashed

Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- Mandarins of the "Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade" of south Korea, when meeting an official of the U.S. administration on a recent visit to it, talked nonsense that "north's repeated steps are throwing hurdles in the way of the six-party talks" and "the north Korea-U.S. dialogue is not taking place due to the former", zealously supporting their American master. They also blustered that "the north will have to pay a due price in case it conducts a nuclear test."

Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

The claim of the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors that it was due to the DPRK that the above-said talks were brought to collapse and there is no dialogue between the DPRK and the U.S. is nothing but sheer sophism.

The U.S. is wholly to blame for making the six-party talks needless and standing in the way of dialogue between the DPRK and the U.S. The group of traitors' absurd sophism can never work on anyone as it is aimed to blindly support the U.S. and shift the responsibility for what happened on to the DPRK, while being keen on sycophancy toward the U.S. and dependence on outsiders.

The Lee group's outbursts that "the north will have to pay a due price in case it conducts a nuclear test" are no more than brazen-faced remarks which remind one of a thief crying "stop the thief!"

Failing to draw a lesson, the group of traitors is still antagonizing compatriots, clinging to the coattails of foreign forces and fanning up the moves to deteriorate the situation. These foolish acts of the Lee group would only result in bedeviling the inter-Korean relations and sparking a war.

The DPRK will never allow the Lee group to do harm to the dignity and interests of the nation and bring dark clouds of a war of aggression against it, backed by the outsiders, but settle accounts with it for all the acts of treachery committed by it.

The group of traitors will only meet disgraceful destruction should it keep going reckless as a shock brigade for executing the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK despite its warnings.
