Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- A function was held at the Iranian embassy here on Monday to lay a floral basket before the photo of President Kim Il Sung and Seyed Ali Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, on the occasion of the week of DPRK-Iran friendship for commemorating the 20th anniversary of the President's meeting with the Iranian leader.
Present there were Iranian Ambassador to the DPRK Morteza Moradian and staff members of the embassy and Jon Yong Jin, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who is also vice-chairman of the DPRK-Iran Friendship Association, and officials concerned.
The participants laid the floral basket before the photo at the embassy and made bows.
They had commemoration tree-planting in the garden of the embassy.
