S. Korean Bellicose Forces' Military Maneuvers Censured

Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- The puppet defense minister of south Korea recently appeared at the "command of the third field army" and called on the troops "to be combat ready to win even in case a battle breaks out right now," while vociferating about someone's "provocation." The puppet military reinforced warships and armed forces along and near the "northern limit line in the West Sea" and formed a "task force to be ready to go into action in half an hour" and deployed it on Yonphyong Islet. It also conducted a secret exercise for special warfare by use of military planes under the pretext of coping with "aerial intrusion into south Korea."

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

This move is a dangerous one to ignite a war of aggression against the north at any cost, taking advantage of the tense situation, as it is an open military provocation to the DPRK.

"Provocation" touted by the war-like forces of the puppet military which reminds one of a thief crying "Stop the thief!" is nothing but a trick to cover up their bellicose scenario and justify their moves to launch a war of aggression against the north.

These reckless war moves stepped up by the puppet military are rendering the inter-Korean relations tenser than ever before and increasing the danger of a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula hour by hour.

The Lee Myung Bak group's persistent moves to provoke a new war despite the DPRK's repeated warnings are as foolish an act as precipitating its own self-destruction.

The justice-loving army of Songun in the DPRK will never allow the enemies of peace to trifle the destiny of the nation in conspiracy with outsiders, challenging the June 15 era of reunification.

The Lee group had better cool its head heated with war fever and behave with discretion.
