Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- Fifty-six youth organizations in south Korea inaugurated a preparatory committee for the south Korean Federation of Youth Organizations and declared that they would take the lead in the struggle for defending and implementing the June 15 joint declaration.
Speakers at its inaugural meeting on May 17 said that the progressive youth organizations would organize a new federation and wage a positive youth movement.
They stressed that the federation would concentrate its efforts on the struggle to defend and implement the June 15 joint declaration, check the authorities' crackdown on the progressive forces and protest the enactment of Lee Myung Bak's evil laws.
