Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- A Mexican national preparatory committee to commemorate the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung was inaugurated on May 15.
Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee at its inaugural ceremony.
The preparatory committee decided to hold under the detailed action program colorful political and cultural events widely introducing the brilliant revolutionary life and immortal exploits of the President and the Songun leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il and supporting the just cause of the Korean people in the period till 2012.
