Displayed at the venue of the exhibition were handicrafts associated with the Korean people's wisdom and talent, Insam goods and Koryo medicines.

Present at its opening ceremony were figures of political and social circles, members of Juche idea study organizations and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and popular masses of Guinea, and the ambassador and members of the DPRK embassy in Conakry.

Speeches were made there.

Riyad Chaloub, general secretary of the Ministry of Information and Culture of Guinea, said that they are very happy to have the exhibition symbolic of the friendship and cooperation between the two countries. And he extended warm greetings to the fraternal Korean people dignifiedly exercising the sovereignty of the country under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il while rejecting the foreign forces' pressure and interference.

The permanent secretary of the National Council for Democracy and Development of Guinea said that the exhibition clearly shows the will of the DPRK government to boost the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.
