The seminar heard papers explaining and proving the facts that the President brought about a turning point in steadily intensifying the Korean revolution through the operation of advance into the Musan area, anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk contributed to the victory of the battles in the Musan area and General Secretary Kim Jong Il turned the area of Mt. Paektu into a magnificent centre for education in the revolutionary traditions and a paradise for the people and the significance of the victory of the battles in the Musan area.

Speakers there said that the President staged revolutionary battles in the Musan area of the country after leading the Arduous March to victory in the period when the Korean revolution was facing a grave crisis due to the unprecedented counter-revolutionary offensive by the Japanese imperialists 7 decades ago.

They elaborated on the personality of Kim Jong Suk as a distinguished military and political activist who displayed matchless bravery and excellent marksmanship and well conducted the political work among the people.

They stressed that under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il the area of Mt. Paektu, a historic land where the Korean revolution was started, underwent a radical change as befitting a centre of education in the revolutionary traditions and the revolutionary spirit and stamina of Mt. Paektu are prevailing in the whole country.
