Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- Many working people from all walks of life and school youth and children in the DPRK are visiting the Victorious Musan Area Battle Memorial Tower on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the victory of the battles in the Musan area.
In May Juche 28 (1939) President Kim Il Sung commanded the battles to victory and thus instilled into the Korean people the firm faith that the armed struggle is the only way out for them and arms only guarantee the victory of the Korean revolution.
The tower with the statue of the President was built in a new and peculiar style in 2002 as required by the era of Songun.
More than 320,000 officials, working people and school youth and children from institutions, industrial establishments, farms and schools from across the country have visited the tower for the last 7 years since then.
