For all Koreans in the north and the south and abroad to pool their efforts and positively realize the national unity on this basis provides a sure guarantee for successfully accelerating the cause of independent reunification.

The Koreans' movement for the country's reunification is accompanied by an acute struggle between the pro-reunification patriotic forces and anti-reunification forces.

All the patriotic forces in the north and the south and abroad should unite close and solidarize with one another under the banner of the independent reunification. This provides a master key to meet any challenge of the separatist forces at home and abroad and achieve the country's reunification by the concerted efforts of the Koreans.

The anti-reunification forces are becoming evermore undisguised in their moves to block travel and contact, dialogue and solidarity and alliance among the pro-reunification movement organizations in the north and the south and abroad and stamp out the movement for the country's reunification in south Korea.

In order to bring the prevailing grave situation under control and pave a wide avenue for independent reunification, peace and prosperity, broad pro-reunification patriotic forces in the north and the south and abroad should positively realize the travel and contact, dialogue and solidarity and alliance in the idea of "By our nation itself," braving the south Korean conservative authorities' suppression, and, at the same time, steadily boost the solidarity in the movement for the country's reunification.

Only when the people from all walks of life in the north and the south and abroad are firmly united to be a patriotic force, boost solidarity and take positive joint actions, can they display matchless strength and the just cause of independent reunification of the Korean nation is sure to triumph.
