Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- A Swiss preparatory committee was formed in Basel on May 15 to celebrate the 45th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.
The preparatory committee decided to widely introduce and disseminate Kim Jong Il's works and his immortal exploits through media and hold colorful political and cultural events in the period from May 15 to June 20.
