Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- The Central Youth Hall standing on a bank of River Taedong with graceful architectural beauty greets its 20th birthday. The hall, opened on May 18, Juche 78 (1989), is a reliable extracurricular centre for youth. It consists of theatres, circle rooms, rooms for sports and amusement games. It is furnished well with musical instruments of various kinds, computers, cars, karaoke equipment, electronic amusement facilities and other means for sports and cultural and emotional life. There young people are deepening their scientific and technological knowledge and doing extracurricular sports and amusement activities according to their hobbies and wishes. Every Sunday witnesses a cheerful dancing party in the hall. Colorful activities such as public political and artistic activities are held in the hall. Different kinds of forums and debates to learn from various positive examples have been sponsored there with attendance of millions of young people on thousands of occasions and educational activities through visual aids such as photo and picture are being held one after another. The extracurricular activities of the hall help young men and women prepare themselves as reliable main force of the revolution and as successor to the revolutionary cause of Juche. |
